Biographical Information
Shanhong You received B.S. degree in
physics in 1997 and M.S. degree in optical engineering in 2000 from Soochow University, Suzhou,
China. She received her
PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai
Jiaotong University in 2004. In April 2004, she joined in OPP China Team of
Opnext Inc in Suzhou
where she worked in designing and developing of optical sub-assembly of
transceiver in fiber optical network. She has contributed to information
optical engineering and fiber optic communications area. Here at Center for
Information and Communication Technology Research (CICTR), Penn State University, her research
is focused on optical wireless communications and pulse shaping. She has
published a number of papers in international journals and conference
proceedings in optics and fiber optic communications.
