He is now with Center for Information and Communication
Technology Research (CICTR) , The Pennsylvania State University,
Biography:
He received B.Sc. degree in Communication in 1999 and M.Sc. degree in Communication Systems in 2001 from electrical engineering school in Sharif University of Technology.
He spent the internship program in RF Communication Circuits Lab. in Sharif University of Technology where he was engaged in several projects mostly in the area of RF communication and telephony circuits. He started his research on Power Line Communication over medium voltage distributed network under supervision of Dr. F. Behnia at Communication Circuits Lab. This project was financially supported by Hamian Fan. Inc. and included a design and implementation of power line modem mainly for Automatic Meter Reading (AMR).
His interests in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) area began since he joint the Signal Company in September 2001 as a system design engineer. Between 2002 and 2003 he was with Micro Modje Ind. (Digital Communication Division) where he worked in research, development and system engineering of Software Defined Radio implementation of RF links between the BTS in cellular mobile networks.
In September 2003 he moved to VLSI research group at University of Calgary where he was primarily engaged in implementation of mixed-signal CMOS chip for Lab-on-a-Chip systems. Also he spent a few months at iRadio Lab at University of Calgary working on linearization of high power RF amplifiers and LINC systems.
